Melanie Oßwald is a Public-Affairs-Manager for research projects. She worked for the Fraunhofer-Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS and is also a former Member of the German National Parliament.
Melanie studied Design at the Class of Prof. Hans-Joachim Berndt at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg, her diploma thesis was a design study for a tablet and operating system. She also graduated from the Master programme „Marketing Management“ at FAU.
As a PhD candidate, her research focus lies on biases in co-creation like the IKEA Effect and related phenomena. She investigates the idea that creativity evaluation concepts like intersubjectivity might also apply to open innovation.
